Rio Rancho Public Schools just received the new NMPED School Reentry Toolkit for the 21-22 school year. At this time, we are taking time to review the information. We will be presenting information to our School Board this evening related to the toolkit and reentry (this meeting will be streamed live on our website and YouTube Channel). In regards to the mask requirements and proof of vaccination, we will be working with our leaders to determine how best to proceed within the parameters of the toolkit. We will communicate further details with all parents, guardians and staff as new information becomes available. Updates for school reentry, along with the toolkit just released, can be found at: https://rioranchonm.sites.thrillshare.com/page/school-reentry-updates

We are excited to share that there will be a virtual Elementary Summer School program. This program has been reimagined to provide a structured learning space to provide connection and support in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to support student success and skill retention. Teachers will provide a half-day skills based program with enrichment opportunities that support the whole child. Eligibility is open with spaces filled on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a focus on foundational skills in ELA and math, aligned to our district adopted and supported instructional materials. Additionally, students will have opportunities to engage in two self-choice activities each day of the program, including: science, physical movement, and the arts. This will be a free opportunity for all students attending both Title I and non-Title I designated sites. Linked below is the informational flyer which includes registration information.
