Summer Goals

ELA
Please don't allow your child to become a victim of the "Summer Slide!" Keep your child reading and thinking!

Have your child keep a journal that he/she writes in nightly/weekly.

Have your child read AT LEAST 20 minutes each day. Mix up the genres and topics- the more varied your child's knowledge base, the better!

Mathematics
Have your child solve real-life problems such as how much change you are getting back from the cashier, or what your total will be. Have them read a analog clock, or count money!

Practice math facts- addition, subtraction, multiplication and addition.
