Maggie Cordova will be holding it's 2nd annual art exhibit Friday, April 25  from 5 - 8 p.m.  Click here for details. Student art work from all grade levels will be on display. The winner of the MCE t-shirt design contest will be announced.

Silent auction, door prizes, art activities and fun for all!

100% of all donations and proceeds will be used to purchase additions and maintenance for the garden. Emilie's Garden is dedicated in memory of a former Maggie Cordova student, Emilie Parker, who died in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting 2013.

What is a Penny War?
A Penny War is a fundraiser that is a lot of fun. The grade level that collects the most pennies in one jug is the winner. HOWEVER, if your jug is really full, other grade levels can put paper or silver money in your jug and exchange it for the pennies. Then your jug has less pennies. If you put a dollar in another jug, they lose 100 pennies. Put in a quarter and they lose 25 cents. By giving other grade levels paper and silver money you decrease their amount of pennies. BUT beware, they can do it to you too!

At the end of the fundraiser, all the pennies will be tallied and the grade level with the most pennies will win a prize fashioned for their grade level.

The fundraiser begins Monday, March 25 and goes to April 25.
